Rotation of the IAEA monitoring mission team took place at the Rivne NPP

The 47th rotation of the International Atomic Energy Agency's permanent monitoring mission took place at the Rivne NPP site. The new team includes experts from Pakistan.

During the meeting at the RNPP site, the results of the previous rotation were summarized, and priority tasks for the next period were determined. The parties discussed the current situation in the field of nuclear safety and shared the knowledge gained during the previous monitoring period.

IAEA representatives noted the openness and constructiveness of the Ukrainian side and expressed their gratitude for the cooperation. RNPP specialists thanked the previous rotation team for their professional work and wished the new group effective and fruitful work over the next three weeks.

The key task of the IAEA's permanent mission is to monitor compliance with the seven indispensable pillars for nuclear safety and security, which are of particular importance in the context of the war in Ukraine.
