JSC NAEK Energoatom has implemented an integrated management system (hereinafter - IMS)
ISU is based on the requirements of national norms and rules on nuclear and radiation safety.
An integrated management system covers (combines) the management of nuclear and radiation safety, production, quality, health and safety, environmental impact, physical safety, human and organizational factors, social development, information protection, finance and economics in such a way that unconditional priority of security over other goals is ensured.
The main document that establishes the general principles that ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the ISU is the "General Instruction on the Integrated Management System of JSC NAEK Energoatom", which describes the powers, responsibilities and relationships in the field of management.
Scope of application of the integrated management system:
- management of the technological complex for the production of electric and thermal energy;
- production of electric and thermal energy;
- performance of repair, installation, reconstruction and modernization works;
- development, design and manufacture of equipment, devices and special means;
- capital construction;
- scientific, technical and engineering support;
- provision and management of resources;
- ensuring constant readiness and response in the event of a nuclear or radiological emergency;
- realization of electrical energy on the electricity markets.
The integrated management system of JSC NAEK Energoatom as a single legal entity is certified with of 2016. In February 2023, another certification audit was conducted at Energoatom JSC.
According to the results of the audit, it was confirmed that the Company quickly adapted to work in military conditions state and ensured social protection of personnel in these conditions. In addition, we came to a conclusion about the effectiveness and proper organization of the actions of the personnel of the separate divisions of the Company in conditions of partial blackout The functioning of the quality management, environmental management, health and safety management systems in Energoatom was confirmed in accordance with the requirements of international standards.
Certification of ISU according to ISO international standards is determined not only by the requirements of the IAEA and the State Nuclear Regulatory Commission, but is also necessary to maintain the Company's status on the international market.
The presence of a certified management system contributes to more active participation of Energoatom in international projects, because Western partners mostly prefer organizations that have the above-mentioned certificates, and also increases the company's reputation and competitiveness.
