The 44th rotation team of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) monitoring mission has started working at the South Ukraine NPP. Over the course of three weeks, the experts will conduct independent oversight of nuclear and radiation safety, analyze key technological processes, and interact with personnel to assess the production situation and operating conditions.

The 43rd rotation went smoothly. The SUNPP management expressed its gratitude to the foreign specialists for their professional and thoughtful work in challenging conditions. For their part, the agency representatives noted the openness of the plant's staff to cooperation and the adequate level of organization of safety processes.

"As always, IAEA representatives will record the technical condition of the equipment, the level of nuclear and radiation safety, as well as the situation around the SUNPP, particularly in the context of potential threats. In the event of airborne objects flying over, we promptly transmit the relevant information, which they send to their headquarters. I hope that this cooperation will continue to be fruitful and useful for our site," emphasized Boris Mikitkov, Deputy Chief Engineer for Life Extension, Technology, and Engineering at the SUNPP.

The stable operation of nuclear power plants under international supervision is part of the mechanism for ensuring safety and responsibility to the global community.
