The University Admissions Process-2025 is at the start, so future prospective students have already faced with choosing their future. Interesting and prestigious job, fair wages, social guarantees, career development and awareness of the significant social significance of their activities – this is all about the profession of a nuclear employee, the first step to which will be studying at one of the specialized universities.
Currently, the nuclear industry is one of the most promising in Ukraine. JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”, the operator of all the Ukrainian nuclear power plants, firmly holds the energy front and feels confident about the future. Despite all the challenges, the Company is implementing an ambitious development strategy, which involves the completion of two power units at the Khmelnytskyi NPP and the construction of nine AP1000 power units according to the American Westinghouse project. It is clear that the implementation of these large-scale projects significantly increases the need for qualified personnel.
Energoatom is one of the largest employers in Ukraine. The highly professional nuclear team consists of over 30,000 employees. Moreover, the Company is interested in attracting young motivated specialists – graduates from specialized higher education institutions to NNEGC staff.
The first step towards a successful career in nuclear industry is to choose a field of study, a university and enter it.
The University Admissions Process-2025 is just beginning, but future prospective students have already immersed in this responsible process, preparing to take the National Multisubject Test (NMT).
The main registration period for participation in the NMT lasts from 06/03/25 to 03/04/25, the additional one – from 09/05/25 to 14/05/25. At this stage, the applicants need to decide on an “optional” subject: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Ukrainian Literature, and Foreign Language.
The rating points for the multitest subjects will be influenced by weighting factors determined by the Ministry of Education for each field of study. Therefore, when choosing one from six “optional” subjects, applicants should be focused on those that are the highest priority for the selected field of study.
It is important that specialties related to nuclear industry have also received special support from the state this year, which provides certain advantages when entering higher education institutions. The Ministry of Education has already approved the relevant list. Constant attention of our state confirms the prospects of the nuclear employee profession and its demand both today and in the future.
“The most important asset for Energoatom is highly professional technical and engineering staff. Personnel retaining and increasing in number is the basis of our Company recruitment policy. If you are looking for a career that combines stability and high development potential, then the nuclear industry offers unique opportunities for you. Join us and become a part of Ukraine’s energy future!” Head of Energoatom Petro Kotin addresses these words to future prospective students.
