Head of NNEGC heard reports on:
- the state of performance of works at the site for future power units in accordance with the approved schedules;
- involvement of highly qualified ZNPP employees in construction works and establishment of appropriate conditions for their residence not only in Netishyn, but also in neighboring towns and cities, in particular in Slavuta and Ostroh;
- provision of scientific and technical support at various stages of repair and restoration activities;
- observance of fire safety and labor protection for employees, etc.
An important result of the meeting was the confirmation of noticeable changes in the repair and restoration activities, which allows the tasks to be performed according to the schedule.
A significant amount of work has been carried out over the past two weeks, opening the way for the installation of equipment to begin next month.
The meeting participants received a clear task from CEO of Energoatom to connect power units to the power grid without deviations from the schedule.
“Now we are all united by the key task – to make maximum efforts to ensure that the units are connected to the power grid on time. Moreover, each of us should be focus on fulfilling this goal. After all, the Energoatom team is responsible to the people of Ukraine, to the President, for the fact that power units 3 and 4 will be erected without delay and will strengthen the state's energy system,” Petro Kotin emphasized.
According to the head of the Company, in the nearest future the draft law on the completion of power units 3 and 4 at the Khmelnytsky NPP will be considered at a meeting of the specialized committee of the Verkhovna Rada with subsequent submission to the session hall for a vote, and therefore efforts must be increased.
