Address by Energoatom Head Petro Kotin to ZNPP employees

main

Three years ago, on March 4, 2022, the pearl of Ukrainian nuclear power industry, Zaporizhzhia NPP, turned out to be under russian occupation. For three years, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe has been the object of russian terror.

It is thanks to you, Ukrainian nuclear engineers, that three years ago the whole world was able to avoid a nuclear and radiation accident when the russians shelled the plant with heavy weapons. You kept at the job under pressure, threats, and intimidation until the russians forced you to leave your home.

Nevertheless, despite everything, you did not give up: you remained loyal to yourself and Ukraine, no matter how difficult it was. We will all always be grateful to you for that.

Our ZNPP will definitely be returned to Ukrainian control, and you will be back home. There will be a lot of work, because russian invaders traditionally leave behind only destruction and decay. However, it will be on our native land, at our native station, for our native country, and therefore nothing is impossible. We will return the Zaporizhzhia NPP to normal and safe operation.

In the meantime, we continue to help the Armed Forces and keep the energy front!
