On December 18 this year, a rotational meeting with a new group of experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency was held at the KhNPP site. During the meeting, Oleksandr Godnyev, Deputy Director General for Quality and Management of affiliate “SS KhNPP”, briefed the international team on the current situation in Ukraine and at Khmelnytskyi NPP.
During the meeting, the experts also shared the results of their work over the past three weeks.
The IAEA mission monitors nuclear and radiation safety and security under the seven pillars of nuclear safety.
The new team will continue its work, providing continuous supervision and support at the Khmelnytskyi NPP site.
