On June 15, Alina Komashchuk, Olympic champion, a graduate of the Comprehensive Children’s and Youth Sports School of the Khmelnytskyi NPP, climbed the podium of the European Sabre Fencing Championship, winning the silver medal for Ukraine in Genoa (Italy).
This is the first personal award for the resident of Netishyn at the European Championship and the sixth medal of the continental championship in her career.
Alina took her first steps in fencing at Comprehensive Children’s and Youth Sports School of the Khmelnytskyi NPP. Energoatom and KhNPP, in particular, pay attention to the development of sports infrastructure. Renovation of sports facilities, halls and equipment is an investment in the generation health, support for young talents and formation of sustainable habits.
