History of creation

Separate Subdivision “Atomenergomash” was established in accordance with the order of SE “NNEGC “Energoatom” dated 07/11/2003 No 666 in accordance with the program for the reorganization of the maintenance service of SE “NNEGC “Energoatom” and is a multidisciplinary structure for the manufacture of products for Ukrainian and foreign NPPs.

Purpose and areas of activity

Safe and efficient performance of repair and reconstruction of heat exchanging and thermomechanical equipment, development of equipment and devices to ensure control over the operation of such equipment, manufacture of containers for radioactive waste, other products and equipment to improve the efficiency and safety of operation of power equipment for NPPs.

The production is equipped with specialized equipment designed for:

  • high-precision metalworking, including CNC machines;
  • manual, semi-automatic and automatic welding;
  • gas, plasma, waterjet and laser cutting of sheet metal and pipes;
  • cutting of sheet and bar rolled products;
  • bending and rolling of sheet products;
  • heat treatment;
  • sheet stamping;
  • waterjet cutting;
  • woodworking;
  • application of anti-corrosion coating;
  • ion-plasma spraying and strengthening of the product surface;
  • manufacture of rubber products;
  • manufacture of reinforced concrete structures;
  • manufacturing of turbine condensers.

Pipe cutting, boring, planing, milling, turning, drilling, gear cutting, grinding equipment, guillotine shears, sheet-bending machines are available. Due to the constant development of new technologies and the availability of specialized equipment, the branch “SS “AEM” ensures an increase in the service life of equipment operated at NPPs, and an increase in the installed capacity factor of power units.

  • stands for measuring the activity of emissions into the ventilation pipe SVT-01M;

Achievements

The compliance of the integrated management system of the branch “SS AEM” of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” with the requirements of state and international standards: DSTU ISO 9001:2015 “Quality Management System. Requirements”, DSTU ISO 14001:2015 “Environmental Management Systems. Requirements and Guidelines for Application”, DSTU ISO 45001:2019 “Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. Requirements and Guidelines for Application” – was confirmed. A certificate of conformity was received.

A complex for measuring the geometric dimensions of the core baffle of the internal housing devices of the VVER-1000 reactor unit was manufactured according to its own documentation.

Based on the updated documentation, the manufacture of air coolers and heaters was restored according to the existing nomenclature.

Equipment for the manufacture of turbine condenser was developed and manufactured. Stands for assembly and welding were designed and manufactured.

The production of reinforced concrete structures has been arranged. According to the developed working design documentation, the manufacturing technology has been worked out; the necessary equipment and installations (stands, formwork, etc.) have been manufactured.

The manufacture of reinforcing ropes has been mastered. On its own, the development of equipment for the production line for reinforcing ropes has been carried out.
