Since the outset of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, almost 1,000 specialists from JSC “NNEGC ”Energoatom" have joined the defense of the state.
Our employees serve in various branches of the military—the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and other units of the Defense Forces—performing a wide variety of tasks. They left their normal lives behind and, without hesitation, stood up to defend their country at the most critical moment.
Energoatom has maintained financial support for workers who have joined the army. All mobilized employees receive a monthly cash payment equal to their average monthly salary. Since the beginning of the war, this amount has already exceeded UAH 1.1 billion. Furthermore, the mobilized employees also retain their jobs.
On Defender of Ukraine Day in 2024–2025, the company paid a one-time financial assistance of UAH 3,000 to each employee who defended the country or returned to their duties.
Energoatom pays special attention to supporting the families of deceased nuclear workers and employees who were wounded while defending their homeland. As of early December 2025, 99 families had received more than UAH 106 million in assistance.
