On the eve of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and St. Nicholas Day, children of employees of the Head Office of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” and separated divisions of the Kyiv location visited the Company's office to try on the role of St. Nicholas and give a piece of love to our defenders.

In this way, the nuclear engineers combined two important holidays of the Ukrainian calendar. The schoolchildren wanted to make a gift to the warriors, while representatives of the Energoatom and the Primary Trade Union Organization helped to make their wish come true.

Under the guidance of volunteer and craftswoman Lyubov Pletnyova, the children set to work: they made trench candles and helped to weave camouflage nets. The boys and girls diligently followed the instructions and coped with the challenging task. The finished products have already been sent to the Donetsk direction to be delivered to our soldiers in time for the holidays.

“It is fitting that both St. Nicholas Day and the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be celebrated on December 6. Our children have joined an important cause to support Ukraine's defenders. The Company's employees also help the Armed Forces by donating funds from their salaries every month,” said Bohdan Shmyhelskyi, Energoatom Executive Director for Human Resources.

Despite their young age, the children know why and for whom they made the items. They did it with great desire and enthusiasm – and they succeeded!

Energoatom, in turn, gave the master class participants an unforgettable experience: gifts, sweets, surprises, and, of course, a fabulous atmosphere of the New Year holidays awaited the children in the festively decorated hall.
