"Currently, the power supply at the power plant has been restored and today it is powered by two lines, one 750 kV, the other 330 kV," Kotin said.
After the loss of power from the main external transmission line on July 4 at 01:21 am, the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant went into partial blackout mode until all units were powered from the back-up line.
ZNPP had to switch to its only available 330 kV back-up power line, which was repaired and reconnected to the power plant only on July 1 after being damaged four months ago.
