UAV strike damages the CSFSF building: radiation levels remain normal

At 02:10 on 7 June 2026, as a result of a strike by an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the container reception building at the site of the Centralized Spent Fuel Storage Facility (CSFSF) sustained partial damage (no spent nuclear fuel was stored in the affected building).

A fire covering an area of 40 square meters was promptly contained and completely extinguished.

No personnel were injured.

Radiation levels at the CSFSF site remain within normal limits.
