In terms of facts:
1. The vast majority of "media from the rest of the world" who arrived at the power plant yesterday are russian propagandists. Buses with Ukrainian and foreign journalists who tried to get to the Zaporizhzhya NPP along with IAEA mission via the territory of Ukraine were not passed through the checkpoint by the russian military.
2. The occupiers lie, distort the facts and evidence that testify to their shelling of the power plant, as well as the consequences of damage to the ZNPP infrastructure. Predictably, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are blamed.
3. Military trucks, deployed in the turbine halls of power units in breach of all fire safety requirements, were presented to the IAEA experts as equipment of the chemical defense forces. The russian military try to hide all the nuclear and radiation safety violations created by them in lies and manipulations.
4. The russians did not allow the mission to enter ZNPP crisis center, where russian military personnel is currently stationed, whom the IAEA representatives were not supposed to see. In other words, some of the armed russian invaders were just "hidden" at the nuclear plant.
5. The mission was "presented" with a pre-planned and staged show, as if "Enerhodar residents are complaining about the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine." More precisely, they talk about shelling, which the invaders persistently attribute to the Ukrainian defenders.
6. The invaders deliberately blocked cellular communications and the Internet in Enerhodar in order to prevent forwarding pictures and videos from ZNPP and its satellite city.
7. Only operative personnel were allowed to work at the Zaporizhzhya NPP while the presence of people on the routes of IAEA delegation members was significantly limited.
It is clear that under such conditions it will be difficult for IAEA to make an impartial assessment of the situation at ZNPP. Instead, we emphasize that it is impossible to implement all recommendations for restoring the nuclear and radiation safety at the power plant provided by the mission while it is under the control of the russian occupation forces.
