The Supervisory Board of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” has satisfied the application of Acting CEO of the Company's Executive Board Petro Kotin to terminate his powers. We express our gratitude to Mr. Kotin for his decades of dedicated service to the Company and for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of nuclear power plants and other Energoatom facilities.
To ensure uninterrupted and seamless management of Energoatom, Pavlo Kovtoniuk, Director General of Rivne NPP, was appointed as Acting CEO of the Executive Board of Energoatom. Mr. Kovtoniuk has the experience and professional qualities required for this role, which will ensure stable operation of the Company and proper preparation for the critical autumn-winter period. We highly appreciate his willingness to take on these responsibilities.
Furthermore, three new key positions are proposed to be established: COO, Vice President for Governance and Ethics, and Vice President for Finance and Strategy.
The Supervisory Board also announces that it will shortly begin a competitive process to select a permanent CEO, as well as all other Executive Board positions. In conjunction with this competition and the need to maintain a total of five Executive Board positions, the Supervisory Board has decided to begin the process of creating new board roles to meet the Company's current needs, incorporate best practices and increase transparency.
The Supervisory Board will continue to work toward strengthening the Company’s leadership, operational efficiency, and continued safe operations.
