On June 10, within the framework of the cooperation between JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (KNU), a training session was held on the organization of public procurement and the prevention of violations of anti-corruption requirements.
Lecturers from the Department of Public Policy of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv presented the key aspects of the new legislative requirements in the field of public procurement and European Union standards to the employees of the Affiliate – SS “Centralized Procurement”.
The participants were introduced to the main changes aimed at ensuring transparency and integrity in procurement procedures. Real-word examples of liability for violating anti-corruption requirements were analyzed separately.
Particular attention was paid to the harmonization of national practices with European ones, as compliance with these standards is an important step towards Ukraine’s integration into the EU.
In addition, the training participants reviewed the case studies, as well as practical auditing and control experience to increase awareness and improve processes within the company.
