On March 21, 2025, the Center for Social Adaptation and Integration for Children and Young People with Special Needs hosted the event “Creativity is the way to successful development!” dedicated to World Down Syndrome Day and organized by “WeCan” Public Organization.
Specialists of Strategic Communications Directorate and representatives of the primary trade union organization of NNEGC “Energoatom” Directorate, as part of the Company corporate volunteering, visited the Center’s pupils. The children demonstrated their skills during a creative music lesson: they sang songs and performed dance exercises. The children also presented gifts made by their own hands to Energoatom employees.
The main goal of the event is to remind society about the problems of socialization of children and young people with special educational needs and to demonstrate how important it is to organize spaces of social and household orientation for them.
On the eve of the visit to the Center, specialists from Strategic Communications Directorate and representatives of the primary trade union organization of NNEGC “Energoatom” Directorate joined forces with “Dobryak” Charitable Foundation to support the Center pupils.
The Foundation prepared special socks for the Company employees for World Down Syndrome Day, which anyone could purchase – and thus help the Center accumulate money for their needs. The collected funds were transferred to “WeCan” public organization, which was founded by parents of children with special needs.
Head of “WeCan” Public Organization Natalya Duzenko and Director of “Dobryak” Charitable Foundation Vyacheslav Zoryanov expressed their gratitude to Energoatom for the assistance provided.
