Since the beginning of 2025, JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” has paid over UAH 102 billion to provide affordable electricity to the public. Furthermore, the Company is entering the final stage of preparations for the autumn-winter period.
Public service obligations (PSO) are a state instrument that keeps electricity tariffs below market levels. The purpose is to reduce the financial burden on Ukrainian families, especially during economic instability.
Since the start of the year, Energoatom has paid UAH 102.2 billion (including VAT) for the PSO service, covering 100% of the cost for January-August 2025 and 40% of the forecasted cost for September.
According to the financial plan of JSC “NNEGC ”Energoatom", the forecasted cost of the PSO service in 2025 is UAH 163.9 billion (including VAT).
As a reminder, in 2024, Energoatom paid UAH 153 billion 184 million (including VAT) for the PSO service.
