An operational meeting chaired by Pavlo Kovtonyuk, Energoatom head, was held at the Rivne NPP. The key topic of the formal occasion was the determination of strategic development priorities for 2026.
In particular, the participants of the meeting discussed a project to improve the power unit operational efficiency and identified a set of measures for this purpose.
Pavlo Kovtonyuk and the plant management also paid attention to planning investment and repair campaigns, as well as a number of technical measures to ensure the steady operation of the country’s power grid.
“Our task is to ensure uninterrupted electricity generation and use available resources as efficiently as possible. It is important to clearly highlight key financial points: priority is given to technical measures that will ensure the power system stability,” Pavlo Kovtonyuk emphasized.
According to him, the professional and coordinated work of nuclear employees is critically important for the energy security of our state.
Taras Tkach, RNPP Director General, added that the 2026 repair campaign is crucial: “We understand that the safe operation of power units depends on the quality and efficiency of maintenance activities. Our specialists are confidently implementing the planned measures.”
