On September 10, a working meeting headed by Acting CEO of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” Pavlo Kovtonyuk, with the participation of heads of structural subdivisions of the Company’s Directorate, was held.
During the meeting, Head of NNEGC spoke about the current goals facing Energoatom. According to him, the current key task for nuclear employees is preparation for the autumn and winter period.
“This is our first and main task in wartime – to ensure moving through a difficult cold period so that Ukrainians have their homes lighted and heated. We must have an integrated preparedness: equipment, personnel, means. We are approaching the finish line of the repair campaign, and we will be ready for the start of the autumn and winter period. This is critically important, because over the past two years, it has been nuclear industry that has helped ensure the normal functioning of our country,” said Pavlo Kovtonyuk.
In addition, Head of Energoatom noted the successful performance indicators demonstrated by the Company. He commented that achieving high results had been possible owing to the stable, professional and coordinated work of the entire several thousand strong team.
He also emphasized that one of the priorities of NNEGC remained assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine: “We continue to support our military – it is thanks to their efforts that we are able to work. This is our sacred duty, and we do not stop supporting them.”
