Oleh Zhokh, an employee of the Khmelnytskyi NPP, became the world champion in arm wrestling at the 46th World Championships held in Albena, Bulgaria. In the final match in a new weight category for the athlete, 90 kg (left arm), he defeated a strong opponent, Sasho Andreev from Bulgaria.
This is Oleh's 12th victory at the world level, but this one is exceptional. In his words:
"Today, in an incredibly difficult fight, I won my 12th victory at the world championship. This title holds special significance for me because it represents the tremendous work, daily training, and struggle not only on the platform but also within myself. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who was there for me: my family, friends, colleagues, coaches, team, and everyone who believed in me. Your support gave me the strength to persevere and not give up. This victory belongs to all of us!"
