Within the framework of his working trip, Pavlo Kovtonyuk, Acting CEO of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”, held a production meeting with the staff of the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant and introduced the new head of the plant to the team.
From now on, Taras Tkach, who previously held the position of Executive Director for Production and Repairs at the Company, has been appointed Acting Director General of the RNPP.
“Taras Tkach is a professional who has been actively involved in the implementation of modernization measures and the implementation of the Complex (Consolidated) Safety Upgrade Program of Power Units of Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plants (CCSUP). His significant experience will be effectively applied for the plant operation,” Pavlo Kovtonyuk emphasized.
Taras Tkach emphasized the importance of coordinated teamwork and a high level of responsibility: “I express my gratitude to the Company’s management for their trust. I will make every effort to continue maintaining the high level of the RNPP performance, as well as to ensure the accident-free and reliable operation of the power units. I kindly ask each of you to be not just managers for your teams, but leaders who lead the way. I am sure that together we will be able to get new achievements.”
