The Supervisory Board of JSC “NNEGC Energoatom” announces that Patrick Fragman, an independent member of the Supervisory Board, has decided to terminate his mandate ahead of schedule.
Patrick Fragman joined Energoatom’s independent Supervisory Board following a competitive selection process, bringing many years of international experience in nuclear energy, the management of major energy companies, and the development of nuclear projects.
The decision to terminate his mandate early is related to Patrick Fragman’s new professional commitments, including a full-time employment opportunity. At the same time, the current stage of Energoatom’s work requires a significant level of engagement and regular participation from Supervisory Board members in the company’s corporate governance bodies.
The Supervisory Board is currently working on a number of priority issues, including an analysis of the company’s financial position, a review of its investment programme and financial plan, the renewal of approaches to strategic development, the strengthening of corporate governance systems, and the renewal of the company’s management.
During his tenure on the Supervisory Board, Patrick Fragman made an important contribution to its work, particularly in analysing the company’s financial situation, assessing the investment programme, and shaping approaches to Energoatom’s further development.
The Supervisory Board expresses its gratitude to Patrick Fragman for his professional work, expertise, and support for the development of Ukraine’s nuclear energy sector.
In accordance with the established procedure, and to ensure the continuity of the Supervisory Board’s work, the process of selecting a candidate for the independent Supervisory Board member position that will become vacant due to the early termination of Patrick Fragman’s mandate has already been initiated. The selection will be carried out using the results of the competitive selection process that has already been conducted, which will allow for the prompt appointment of a new Supervisory Board member without launching a full new competition cycle.
