Zaporizhzhia NPP experienced another blackout

main

Today, on July 4, 2025, as a result of an air strike by russian troops on the territory of Ukraine, the last remaining power line linking Zaporizhzhia NPP to the Ukrainian power grid was damaged.

Due to the complete blackout, ZNPP switched to powering its in-house needs from diesel generators. That constitutes a severe violation of normal power plant operation and poses a risk of causing an accident.

ruscists keep posing a threat to nuclear and radiation safety at Europe's largest nuclear facility. Their irresponsible actions can have catastrophic consequences for the whole world. ZNPP must be returned to the control of its legitimate operator, Energoatom, as soon as possible. That is the only way to prevent a radiation and nuclear disaster.
