A new team of experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) arrived at the Khmelnytskyi NPP site at the end of last week. A meeting was held with participation of the management of the branch “SS “Khmelnytskyi NPP”, where experts from the 38th IAEA team, who have been working at the NPP for the past three weeks, provided their preliminary conclusions on the state of nuclear and radiation safety and security.
The Agency’s specialists continue their work, conducting independent monitoring. During their stay at the power plant, they interact with Ukrainian nuclear employees, analyze the current situation and ensure an international presence, which is an important factor of transparency and stability in the energy sector.
