On October 31, 2025, the 49th rotation of the permanent mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) began work at the site of the affiliate “SS “KhNPP” of JSC “NNEGC ”Energoatom.”
The mission includes specialists from Argentina and Pakistan. During their stay at the KhNPP, they will monitor nuclear and radiation safety, familiarize themselves with current production processes and equipment operating conditions, and assess compliance with international safety standards.
Ukraine's cooperation with the IAEA is systematic and aimed at ensuring the safe operation of nuclear facilities in the challenging conditions of wartime. The KhNPP traditionally maintains openness to international partners, demonstrating high standards of safety culture, professionalism, and a responsible approach to the performance of its tasks.
