On September 19, 2025, the 47th rotation of the Permanent Mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) started to work at the Khmelnytskyi NPP.

The mission includes experts from Armenia and Vietnam. In the nearest future, they will monitor nuclear and radiation safety, as well as observe compliance with international standards at the plant site.

The presence of IAEA representatives at Ukrainian nuclear power plants is an important element of guaranteeing transparency and confirming the safe operation of power units. Energoatom and the Khmelnytskyi NPP, in particular, are open to international cooperation, ensuring a high level of safety culture and reliable operation within the Ukrainian energy system.
