On August 29, the 46th rotation of experts of the Permanent Monitoring Mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) took place at the Khmelnytskyi NPP site.
The new group includes representatives from Lithuania and Romania, who replaced the previous team of international observers.
The experts will continue to conduct daily monitoring of the state of nuclear and radiation safety, visual inspections of key facilities, and monitor compliance with the seven fundamental safety principles defined by the IAEA.
