This year’s forum brings together young professionals from Ukraine’s NPPs for the third time to exchange ideas, network, discuss current challenges, and foster young people’s interest in nuclear energy.
Representatives of the Ukrainian Nuclear Society organized the Youth Nuclear Forum with the support of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” and its affiliate “Rivne NPP”.
Pavlo Kovtonyuk, head of Energoatom, delivered a welcoming address to participants, highlighting the global trend toward increasing nuclear generation capacity. He emphasized that nuclear energy is the foundation of Ukraine’s energy mix and that the country will need new power units for post-war reconstruction.
At the same time, implementing large-scale plans is impossible without specialists. “That is why it is important to actively work with young, progressive specialists right now, to listen to their ideas and approaches, analyze real-world cases, and put the results into practice,” added the head of NNEGC.
Pavlo Kovtonyuk wished the participants inspiration and fruitful cooperation for the development of Ukraine’s nuclear power generation!
