The event was attended by Pavlo Kovtonyuk, Head of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”, Vyacheslav Stoyanov, Director General of the branch “SS SUNPP”, Anatolii Kostyukh, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Nuclear Energy and Nuclear Safety, and people's deputies.
During the meeting, participants discussed several topical issues, including the energy market situation, sector activities, and ways to strengthen our country's energy security.
Focus was placed on Energoatom's preparedness for the autumn and winter period.
As noted by Pavlo Kovtonyuk, Acting CEO of JSC “NNEGC ”Energoatom," nuclear power professionals traditionally demonstrate a high level of responsibility in preparing power units operating in Ukraine-controlled territory for the heating season.
“Preparing for the autumn-winter period involves a large number of measures that must be implemented. We are ready to provide Ukraine and Ukrainians with stable electricity throughout the autumn and winter periods. Today, repairs are being completed on two more power units, and we must go through this period at full capacity,” he stressed.
The meeting once again underscored the key role of nuclear energy in safeguarding Ukraine's energy security during challenging times.
The event honored the company's employees who have made a significant contribution to the stable operation of the enterprise.
The constructive dialogue between people's deputies, company management, and industry experts became an important step toward further strengthening the country's energy security.
