Fifteen families of internally displaced persons who currently work at the Khmelnytskyi NPP are moving into the newly completed section of the modular housing complex. A total of 38 adults and 24 children have received temporary accommodation from Energoatom. The construction of the residential modules was financed by Energoatom.

Energoatom CEO Pavlo Kovtoniuk took part in handing over the keys to the families. The homes are equipped with everything necessary for comfortable living.

“We are committed to ensuring that our nuclear workers and their families to live in comfort. Therefore, we will continue to build housing in the modular complex while also focusing on the construction of permanent homes. We already have relevant construction projects for each of our NPP sites,” Pavlo Kovtoniuk said.

With the completion of the new building, 108 people can now live in the modular housing complex.

As a reminder, the first phase of the project was commissioned in January 2025 with the support of the Swedish Government and using Energoatom’s own funds. Notably, the modular housing complex has a modern shelter with a capacity of more than 250 people.
