The staff of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” continues to help the military who have stood up to defend Ukraine. Since the outset of the full-scale invasion by the russian federation, nuclear power professionals have been transferring funds from their salaries to a special account at the National Bank of Ukraine.
To date, nuclear workers have allocated approximately UAH 18.5 billion to support the military.
Feeling the need to provide even greater support to the Ukrainian military, the company's employees have created public organizations whose main task is to respond quickly to the needs of our army and do everything possible to support it.
Employees of the Energoatom Head Office founded the NGO “Guards of Light,” which already has several branches. The public organization has gradually developed and now has separate divisions in Pivdennoukrainsk, Varash, Slavutych, and Netishyn.
In two years of operation, “Guards of Light” has provided more than UAH 1.1 billion in aid to the Ukrainian military, processing more than 400 requests from 160 military units:
- automotive equipment;
- body armor and military ammunition;
- quadcopters, thermal imagers, night vision devices;
- Starlink, radioelectronic warfare, thermal imaging sights, and monoculars;
- charging stations, gasoline and diesel generators, and much more.
Together, we have proven that the strength of Ukrainian energy lies not only in megawatts, but also in the resilience of the people who work for Victory.
