Representatives of the NGO “Guardians of Light” affiliate – SS “Pivdennyi”, in cooperation with volunteers of the organization available in Kyiv, handed over the military of the 21st separate mechanized brigade a vehicle that will help the defenders in performing combat missions.
The Mitsubishi L200 pickup will operate in the Sumy direction, allowing military to be more mobile and operating. Vehicles are now as critical to the front line as weaponry and ammunition. Speed is often the deciding factor between life and death.
The military of the 21st separate mechanized brigade expressed their gratitude to the volunteers of the NGO “Guardians of Light” and the staff of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”, and emphasized the extraordinary value of support by civilian population. “It means so much to have people you can turn to, and who truly step up to help. The assistance received is very timely; it will contribute to the performance of combat missions. Thank you. Glory to Ukraine!” said battalion commander Volodymyr Konin.
The NGO “Guardians of Light” comments that any assistance is an evidence of the unity of the rear and the front, joint responsibility and faith in the victory of Ukraine. Volunteers note that every handover is made possible by the commitment and coordinated effort of nuclear industry employees. After receiving a request, it is necessary to find a suitable vehicle, often abroad, check its technical condition, deliver it to Ukraine, and carry out an inspection and, if necessary, repairs. All these efforts are aimed at ensuring that the military receive reliable equipment and feel the support of civilians.

As a reminder, the NGO “Guardians of Light” is a public organization founded by specialists of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” to help our Defenders in the fight against russian aggression. The non-governmental organization has been gradually developed, and now its separate subdivisions are established in Yuzhnoukrainsk, Varash, Slavutych and Netishyn.
