On September 24, an agreement on partnership and cooperation was concluded between JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” and Sloviansk Power-Building Applied College.
The document was signed by Head of Energoatom Pavlo Kovtonyuk and College Director Viktor Turka.
The agreement provides for cooperation in the field of professional pre-higher education, in particular:
- arranging internship work and industrial work placement for students;
- holding joint scientific and technical conferences;
- involving Energoatom specialists in teaching specialized subjects;
- implementing joint scientific and research projects.
Pavlo Kovtonyuk emphasized the importance of such interaction, “Energoatom has already developed a good tradition of supporting specialized educational institutions. The Company is interested in training and attracting young specialists to work at nuclear power facilities. The specialties taught at Sloviansk Power-Building Applied College are extremely relevant for our activities. We hope for fruitful and effective cooperation.”
Signing this agreement is another important step towards high-quality succession pipeline for the Ukrainian nuclear power industry and enhancement of relationship between education and production.
