Preparation of nuclear power plants for the heating season is an important process, because electricity is needed most in winter.
“Owing to the high professionalism of nuclear employees, power unit outages were reduced by 58 days in 2024. In the controlled territory of Ukraine, all 9 power units are operating at full capacity,” Energoatom Head Petro Kotin commented in an interview with the TV channel “We are Ukraine”.
