On May 8, Head of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” Petro Kotin and Rector Ukrainian State University Kostiantyn Sukhyi signed an important agreement opening up new prospects for the development of the electric power industry. The agreement will contribute to the improvement of the system of specialist training and will provide an opportunity to effectively combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
The parties will cooperate in the following areas:
• conducting career guidance events;
• organizing internships and internships for students;
• implementing dual education;
• organizing scientific and scientific and technical conferences, participating in scientific and research work.
According to Rector of Ukrainian State University, Ukraine’s energy independence is impossible without highly qualified specialists in the field of nuclear energy.
“Our university is open to cooperation and is interested in training for future nuclear employees. Together with Energoatom, we will attract promising students who aspire to change the world through science, safety and innovation,” Kostiantyn Sukhyi said.
“One of the key tasks of our Company is to take care of the future of Ukraine’s nuclear power industry and involve graduates in professional training so that they become highly qualified specialists at Energoatom. We need young specialists who will join the implementation of large-scale nuclear projects aimed at ensuring energy security and independence of our country,” Petro Kotin emphasized.
