A working meeting of the management of NNEGC “Energoatom” and the State Fire Service of the Republic of Poland (KG PSP) was held within the framework of the ReBuild Ukraine Exhibition. The parties discussed the issues of training, implementation of European safety algorithms and exchange of experience in civil protection and emergency response.
During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation between the Energoatom affiliate – SE “Emergency Technical Center” and KG PSP were outlined. These are three key areas practically available for implementation:
- operational and technical interaction;
- training and knowledge exchange;
- coordination through international mechanisms and projects.
Special attention was paid to the opportunities of involving the European Civil Protection Mechanism to implement joint programs – from equipment supplies to conducting exercises.
The parties see the prospects in cooperation for the practical implementation of joint projects aimed at increasing the level of emergency preparedness, strengthening technical capabilities and implementing European safety standards.
The meeting at ReBuild Ukraine was an important step in strengthening the partnership of Ukraine and Poland in the field of safety and emergency response.
