To this end, NNEGC “Energoatom” is launching cooperation with Cherkasy State Technological University and Slovyansk Power Engineering College (in 2022, the institution was relocated to Cherkasy).

The Company's partnership with industry-specific educational institutions of the Cherkasy region is aimed at training skilled personnel for the Chyhyryn NPP construction, which is planned to be built in the Cherkasy region.

Therefore, Energoatom welcomes the initiatives of the Cherkasy Regional Council, which appealed to NNEGC to cooperate with local higher and secondary education institutions.

Ukraine is a recognized European leader in nuclear energy development. In the coming decades, NNEGC “Energoatom”, together with its U.S. partners, plans to build 9 new power units using AP1000 technology, complete KhNPP Units 3 and 4, and launch a program for the construction of small modular reactors.
