Since the beginning of 2025, JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” has covered 100% of the cost of PSO services for January-October 2025, paying almost UAH 132 bln to provide Ukrainians with affordable electricity.
Energoatom paid UAH 16 bln 905 mln for PSO services in October.
The public service obligations (PSO) are a state instrument that allows keeping the residential electricity tariff below the market level. Its goal is to reduce the financial burden on Ukrainian families, especially in conditions of economic instability.
According to the financial plan of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”, the projected cost of the PSO service in 2025 is UAH 159.8 bln (VAT included).
As a reminder, in 2024, Energoatom paid UAH 153 bln 184 mln (VAT included) for the PSO service.
