JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” covered 100% of the cost of the PSO service for January-September 2025, paying almost UAH 115 bln to provide Ukrainians with affordable electricity.
For the September PSO service, Energoatom paid UAH 10 bln 450 mln.
The public service obligations (PSO) are a state instrument that allows keeping the residential electricity tariff below the market level. Its goal is to reduce the financial burden on Ukrainian families, especially in conditions of economic instability.
According to the financial plan of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”, the projected cost of the PSO service in 2025 is UAH 163.9 bln (VAT included).
As a reminder, in 2024, Energoatom paid UAH 153 bln 184 mln (VAT included) for the PSO service.
