JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” has completely abandoned supplying equipment, spare parts, and repair services from the aggressor country.
Maintenance, spare parts supply, and all other necessary repair, modernization, and restoration work are performed using the Company's own resources or involvement of Ukrainian suppliers of spare parts, works, and services and international partners.
An extra-heavy turbine generator stator (manufactured at the leningrad plant) has been transported to the production site of the Polish branch of Arabelle Solutions (Wroclaw, Poland). There, highly skilled professionals will carry out a major overhaul in compliance with all nuclear industry standards.
“Poland, like Ukraine, will build new power units using the U.S. AP1000 technology. Therefore, the partnership and cooperation between the countries in this area will only deepen,” said Energoatom CEO Petro Kotin.
The head of Energoatom once again emphasized that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Energoatom has refused russian goods and services, replacing them with either its in-house manufacture or supplies from partner countries.
