On the eve of Saint Nicholas Day and Ukrainian Armed Forces Day, a warm and cozy event for children was held at the office of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”.

The event was organized by the Strategic Communications Department and the primary trade union organization of the Head Office of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”. This format of meetings has become a good tradition for the company, combining the light of winter holidays with support for those who defend Ukraine.

Saint Nicholas Day is about believing in small miracles that make our everyday life brighter. And it is children who best remind us of this with their sincerity and good intentions.

After getting to know each other and talking about the importance of helping the military, the children set about packing treats to send to the defenders. They helped weave elements of camouflage netting and drew cheerful smiley faces on tangerines.

They worked attentively and enthusiastically, striving to convey their sincerity and a piece of their souls. The finished packages will be sent to nuclear workers who are currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Pavlo Kovtonyuk, the head of Energoatom, who also attended the event, congratulated the children on Saint Nicholas Day. He emphasized the special atmosphere created by the children – little “St. Nicholases” – and thanked them for their love for Ukraine, their support for the defenders, and their sincere desire to do good deeds. According to him, moments like these remind us that goodness begins with simple action and that children's initiatives can warm the hearts of our military.

Pavlo Kovtonyuk also expressed his hope that in the future, some of the young participants of this meeting will join the large Energoatom family to develop the energy sector and strengthen the country together.
