Over 50 students and faculty members from Ukrainian universities, specializing in nuclear energy, participated in the Summer Nuclear School. The program featured conferences, round-tables, hands-on experience sharing, and lectures delivered by top university professors and industry leaders.
The Executive Directorate for Personnel of JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” organized and coordinated the event, while specialists and structural units of the branch “SS RNPP” managed logistics and program delivery. The Ukrainian Nuclear Society co-hosted the event, with representatives supporting training and communication.
Holding such events is vital for developing highly qualified professionals for Ukraine’s nuclear energy sector — a top priority for JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” as a socially responsible company.
As part of the program, participants visited key facilities at the Rivne NPP, attended professional lectures, underwent training in tactical medicine, and engaged in discussions with leading Energoatom specialists.
The students presented their own scientific reports and presentations, which were highly appreciated by the organizers. The four best works were awarded certificates, letters of appreciation, and cash prizes from JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”:
1st place – Veli Bekirov, student at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology;
2nd place – Maksym Yurov, student at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”;
3rd place was shared by two participants – Ivan Voronetskyi, student at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv; Danylo Kulakov, student at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Overall, this format became not just a platform for knowledge exchange but also a powerful stimulus for professional growth. For students, it provided a unique opportunity to gain insight into the industry, ask questions to experts, experience the value of their chosen path, and ensure that their future profession is important, modern, and necessary for the country.
