A delegation from JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” is participating in the 51st World Nuclear Symposium, taking place in London on September 9–11, 2026. The Symposium is the leading annual international event for the global nuclear industry, organized by the World Nuclear Association (WNA). This year’s event also marks the 25th anniversary of WNA.

The World Nuclear Symposium brings together executives from leading nuclear companies, government officials, representatives of international organizations, investors, analysts, scientists, and regulators to discuss major issues in nuclear energy.

In 2025, the Symposium brought together more than 1,100 participants from 59 countries.

The Symposium covers the entire nuclear fuel cycle – from uranium mining, conversion, enrichment, and nuclear fuel production to engineering, construction and operation of nuclear power plants, waste management, and transportation.

Key topics in 2026 include new financing models for nuclear projects, technology alliances and international partnerships to expand nuclear capacity, as well as the development of small modular reactors amid growing electricity demand and an increased focus on energy security.

As part of the Symposium, the JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” delegation has held a series of meetings with key international partners, including representatives of Westinghouse, Cameco, Urenco, Orano, and the World Nuclear Association. The parties have discussed ongoing cooperation, the development of strategic partnerships, and prospects for further collaboration.
