On St. Nicholas Day, representatives of NNEGC visited the young patients of the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital to congratulate them on the holiday.

The Company purchased and handed over 14 special-purpose folding beds to the orthopedics and traumatology department. These beds are needed primarily for parents who usually stay with their children during treatment at Okhmatdyt. They were purchased at the personal expense of the Company's employees.

Oleksandr Urin, Head of the Department of Intensive and Efferent Therapy for Acute Intoxication and Acting Director General of the Okhmatdyt thanked NNEGC for the assistance:

“I would like to thank Energoatom for joining in at the most challenging moment after the missile hit our hospital. This support allows us to expand our capabilities and improve the quality of our work,” the doctor emphasized.

Bohdan Shmyhelskyi, NNEGC's Executive Director for Human Resources, noted that Energoatom, in addition to electricity generation, supports crucial social projects for the country.

“On July 8, the entire country was shocked by the missile hit on Okhmatdyt, and then the w entire country rallied to help the hospital. Energoatom allocated UAH 5 million and supports the institution that saves children's lives. We thank the doctors for their work and continue to help,” said Bohdan Shmyhelskyi.

Assistance to the hospital has become a significant area of Energoatom's charitable activities. The Head of Energoatom, Petro Kotin, highlighted the importance of such support: “St. Nicholas Day is a time when we have to share kindness and support, especially with those who need it most. Energoatom always strives to be not only an energy producer but also a source of hope for our fellow citizens. Assistance to Okhmatdyt is a contribution of every employee of our Company because we realize how important to support those who save children's lives. I am grateful to our doctors for their dedication and everyone who joined this charitable cause.”
