That event had a symbolic meaning – Unit 6 became the first power unit completed during the independence of Ukraine. It remains the youngest power unit of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, which, unfortunately, is currently under occupation by russian troops.
The aggressor turned the largest nuclear power plant in Europe into a military base, blackmailing the civilized world and posing risks to nuclear and radiation safety.
Energoatom is convinced that Unit 6 of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, like the other five, will definitely continue to operate for the benefit of Ukraine and will deliver megawatts to the power grid of our state.
The ZNPP was, is and will be Ukrainian!
