On October 23, 2024, the plant-wide emergency drill “Radiation accident caused by emergency at the branch “SS “Khmelnytskyi NPP” will be held at the Khmelnytskyi NPP site.

Purpose of the emergency drill: checking the readiness of the management and emergency units of the Khmelnytskyi NPP to act in the event of an emergency at the NPP; improving the practical skills of operational personnel in detecting, classifying an accident, bringing control bodies, forces and means to readiness for actions to localize and eliminate an emergency; organizing and conducting radiation protection measures for personnel, the population and the environment; ensuring the functioning of the warning, communication and information system.

During the emergency training, the interaction of the Khmelnytskyi NPP with local and territorial bodies of the State Emergency Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, as well as local executive bodies will be practiced.
