Competitions in various sports were held from September 5 to 8, 2024. Due to well-coordinated teamwork and high results in each sport, 23 employees of Khmelnytskyi NPP in the team of nuclear workers represented the nuclear industry worthily and topped the medal table. 

In the table tennis competition, KhNPP representatives placed second in the team event. In the individual competition, Halyna Rozvarska won a silver medal, while Bohdan Moroz won a bronze medal.

Khmelnytskyi NPP employees Bohdan Dorosh, Oleksandr Brus, Maryna Nahorna, and Kateryna Starkova won awards in two athletics disciplines (100-meters race – 2nd place for Maryna Nahorna and 3rd place for Bohdan Dorosh, 4x100 m relay – 2nd place), as a result, placed second in the team event.

Nine KhNPP employees took part in the volleyball tournament. Representatives of different divisions showed high sportsmanship and won in this sport.

Successful performances of nuclear professionals in chess and checkers competitions brought several awards: Serhii Savchuk took second place in the team event in the 64 checkers tournament and third in the individual competition; Victoria Safronova took second place in the team event in chess and captured gold in the individual competition while Oleksandr Ivanov won the bronze.

Nuclear workers won in such disciplines as kettlebell lifting, where employees of Rivne and South Ukraine NPPs brought five medals to the team, and futsal, where a team of representatives of the South Ukraine NPPs won gold.

We are grateful to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their defense. Due to the daily bravery of our warriors, we can hold sporting events. Do not stop supporting the defenders; it is the duty of every citizen. Let's bring the Victory closer together!
