Timeline of seizure of the Zaporizhzhia NPP
On the eighth day of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, on the night of March 3 to 4, 2022, occupation forces seized the Zaporizhzhia NPP and its satellite city of Enerhodar.
Ukrainian nuclear workers and residents of Enerhodar tried to keep the enemy out of the town and the plant site until the last moment. Unarmed but determined to defend their hometown, they resisted the aggressor.
