russia should withdraw troops from Zaporizhzhya NPP – Secretary General of NATO
Prior to the NATO summit in Vilnius, Jens Stoltenberg said that russia should withdraw its military forces from the Zaporizhzhya NPP.
"Regarding the situation around the Zaporizhzhya NPP, our message to russia is that it should withdraw its troops. The way they are currently behaving at the plant undermines the safety of this largest nuclear power plant in Europe," Stoltenberg said.
The Secretary General of NATO also commented on russia's nuclear rhetoric.
"russia should know that a nuclear war can never be won and it must never be fought. NATO allies, of course, are monitoring closely what russia is doing. We condemn the announcement that the russian federation will deploy tactical nuclear weapons to belarus, and we are closely monitoring their actions," he said.
